Blog EntryA Lion loves to a womanJun 10, '08 6:50 PM
for everyone

Several years ago a woman found a sick,
malnourished lion cub in the jungle. She took the
cub home and fed him and brought him up until he was
too big to keep anymore. Then she made arrangements
with a zoo in Colombia to take the lion. Here's a
video of what happened when she went to visit him in
the zoo for the first time.
The reaction of the lion when he sees her is INCREDIBLE!

Blog EntryDancing Show from ChinaJun 9, '08 12:37 AM
for everyone

Penari2 semuanya cantik2 hanya cacat pendengeeranya.

Thought you might like to know about this awesome dance, called the
Thousand-Hand Guanyin.  As you watch it, please bear in mind that all of
the 21 dancers are deaf!   Considering the tight coordination required,
their accomplishment would be nothing short of amazing, even if they were
not all deaf.   Relying only on signals from trainers at the four corners of
the stage, these extraordinary dancers deliver a visual spectacle that is
both intricate and stirring.  Its first major international debut was in
Athens at the closing ceremonies for the 2004 Paralympics.  But it had

long been in the repertoire of the Chinese Disabled People's Performing Art
Troupe and had traveled to more than 40 countries.

Its lead dancer is 29-year old TaiLihua, who has a BA from the Hubei Fine
Arts Institute.  The video was recorded in Beijing during Spring Festival
celebrations.   Click on this site to watch the dance with your sound on.

Blog EntryBrain Scientist got stroke Mar 31, '08 9:57 PM
for everyone
brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a
massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away
one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered
every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and
connect us to the world and to one another.
